The Lebanese Rugby League Federation is proud to announce a series of sponsorships to cover the Cedars 2017 Rugby League World Cup Campaign. The LRLF have been actively seeking partnerships and generating revenue streams to bolster preparations for the landmark event, providing the Cedars with the best platform for positive results at this year’s world cup.
The main sponsor of the Cedars campaign is Australian based business Chalouhi Group a civil engineering and construction company. Robin and Norman Chalouhi, founders of the Chalouhi Group, are proud to partner with the Lebanese Rugby League Federation to ensure a successful 2017 World Cup campaign.
“As Australians of Lebanese heritage, we are excited with the progression that the Cedars have made over the years which provides our heritage with representation on an international scale. The players and staff have worked extremely hard to qualify for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup and it is an honour to be a part of their journey.”
LRLF President, Mohamed Habbous said, “The LRLF is ecstatic with the support received from the Lebanese community in Australia, and we welcome Chalouhi Group as the main sponsor of the Cedars. We have been working tirelessly to secure fruitful partnerships to provide Lebanon with the support required to compete at the highest level at the Rugby League World Cup, and I am sure through partnerships like these, the Cedars will rise to the occasion.”
The Cedars will begin preparation with an international warm-up fixture against Niue on 14 October in Sydney, Australia.
