Lebanon Coach Brad Fittler has named his 21-man squad for the Cedars’ second Rugby League World Cup pool match against England on Saturday, 4th November at Allianz Stadium.
After an impressive 29-18 victory over France in Canberra, the side to face England will include a number of new faces from the Cedars’ 24-man squad.
Daniel Abou-Sleiman, Bilal Maarbani, Ray Moujalli and Jamie Clark have been named for their first game of the tournament, while Chris Saab is also included in the second row after being ruled out in the warm-up of the opening match.
Elias Sukkar, Anthony Layoun, Andrew Kazzi and James Elias have been named on the extended interchange bench.
Fans will have the chance to meet the Cedars squad tomorrow afternoon at Belmore Sportsground, with an open training session to be held from 4pm.
The Cedars recognise the continued support of their corporate partners, with Chalouhi the major sponsor of the Lebanese team for the RWLC 2017.
