Four Friendly Fixtures Highlight Domestic Rugby League Action at Champville

The Lebanese Rugby League Federation (LRLF) continued its 2026 domestic match program on Sunday, 24 May, with four friendly fixtures played at Champville across the men's and women's game.

The day featured men's matches between Immortals and Wolves and Lycans and Titans, alongside two women's fixtures between Aconites and Immortals.

In the men's competition, Immortals and Wolves produced an entertaining and closely contested encounter. The sides went into halftime level at 20 - 20 before Wolves pulled ahead during the second half to secure a 38 - 32 victory.

Lycans also recorded a strong performance against Titans. After establishing a 14 - 4 halftime advantage, Lycans continued to build on their lead after the break and finished with a 28 - 16 win.

The women's fixtures provided another valuable opportunity for Lebanon's female players to gain competitive match experience.

Aconites took the opening game 26 - 6, producing a strong attacking performance to secure the victory. Immortals responded in the second encounter, keeping Aconites scoreless and claiming an 8 - 0 win to ensure the two sides shared the day's results.

The inclusion of two women's fixtures also reflects the Federation's continued commitment to increasing playing opportunities for women and girls and strengthening the women's rugby league pathway in Lebanon.
