The Lebanese Rugby League Federation (LRLF) continued its domestic match program on Sunday, 19 July, with Wolves defeating Lycans 38 - 24 in a competitive friendly at Champville.
The fixture provided both clubs with valuable match preparation ahead of the upcoming 2026 Lebanon Rugby League Championship, giving players the opportunity to build combinations, improve match fitness and gain further competitive minutes.
Wolves held a narrow 20 - 16 lead at halftime after an evenly contested opening period, with both sides creating opportunities in attack.
The second half remained competitive, but Wolves were able to extend their advantage and close out the match to secure a 38 - 24 victory.
