Lebanon Rugby League Federation is set to name brothers Travis and Reece Robinson, as well as Josh and Adam Rizk to take the field on October 18 and 19 in the World Cup Nines.
This will be an historic moment and first time a team has fielded two sets of brothers in the one team, in the World Cup Nines.
Travis Robinson has represented the Cronulla Sharks and Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League with his twin Reece playing for the Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels, Canberra Raiders and Brisbane Broncos. Reece also has played rugby union for the New South Wales Waratahs in Super Rugby.
Josh and Adam Rizk both attended Holy Cross College Ryde and in September went on to win the competition in the New South Wales Rugby League Sydney Shield competition, with their club the Ryde-Eastwood Hawks. The Sydney Shield competition was won after they defeated Cabramatta 22-12 at Leichhardt Oval. Josh played in the centres and Adam played five-eighth. Josh scored a four-pointer and kicked a conversion and penalty goal. Adam was ruled best on ground after a terrific game with the boot, including two try assists that both came from kicks.
