LRLF is seeking Women’s Rugby League (WRL) Development Officer.
Basic Function:
The WRL Development Officer will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational activities of the Women Rugby League, including strategic planning, educational development, operations management, and financial planning. The Development Officer will embody and promote the core values of the LRLF in all activities, creating a broadly diverse environment necessary to foster multifarious skills for the benefit of Rugby League’s development throughout the Republic of Lebanon.
Responsibilities
- Organizing, developing and delivering varied range of Rugby League activities & projects.
- Fundraising and budget management.
- Financial Accounting.
- Administrative responsibilities.
- Writing reports, press releases & marketing.
- Liaising and working with relevant teams and work establishing new WRL teams / clubs.
- Monitoring and accessing progress.
- Liaising and working with different LRLF department.
Minimum Requirements:
- At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution; an advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Rugby League & Lebanese sports industry.
- Strong interpersonal, intercultural, managerial, organisational, and communication (both oral and written) skills in Arabic & English (with French and/or other languages a plus).
