The Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, His Excellency Mr. Glenn Miles, hosted the Lebanese Rugby League Federation at his residence as part of a farewell dinner to the Cedars players and LRLF Staff embarking on their historic tour to Australia to take part in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
The night proved to be a huge success, with His Excellency delivering a speech about his early involvement with rugby league, and the continued support of the Australian Embassy to the LRLF strategic development.
LRLF CEO, Remond Safi said "Our aim is for our players and staff to experience the Australian culture and bring back the rich heritage of Australian rugby league to Lebanon to embed the values and culture of our great sport both on and off the field."
The Lebanese Rugby League Federation (LRLF) would like to thank His Excellency Mr. Glenn Miles and the staff at the Australian Embassy for their hospitality, generosity, and support.
