Lebanon Rugby League kicks off
Lebanon Rugby League season is set to return this weekend. Four Clubs will participate in the Lebanon Rugby League (LRL) Championship: Tripoli RLFC, El Mina, Grey Wolves RLFC, and Wolves RLFC – who are set to defend their title.
Week 1 kicks off at 8:00pm today, Saturday, 2nd June 2022, at Nejmeh Stadium with a repeat of the last season’s Semi-Final between Tripoli RLFC and Grey Wolves RLFC.
LRL Tournament Director Gaby Haddad noted: “I am thrilled to see the launch the LRL championship this year and looking forward to having another highly competitive season.”
LRLF Chief Executive Officer added: “Despite all the challenges we are facing in Lebanon, all the players, clubs, match officials and LRLF staff are showing a robust attitude to keep the game going and show how strong we are as Lebanese when we are united toward a common goal.”
