he 2017/18 Collegiate Rugby League Championships kicks off today with matches at the American University of Beirut and the University Of Balamand.
Division 1 of the Collegiate Rugby League Championship kicks off with a repeat of last years Grand Final. The Univeristy Of Balamand will host the Lebanese American Univeristy Varsity Team in an exciting opening fixture to the premier division of the CRL. American Univeristy Of Beirut Varsity play host to Notre Dame Univeristy at the newly renovated Charles Hostler Student Center Green Field.
The first game of the Division 2 Collegiate Rugby League Championship will also be held at the Charles Hostler Student Center, with American Univeristy Of Beirut Junior Varsity taking on Beirut Arab University.
The CRL is the premier Univeristy competition in Lebanon, which is integral to the player pathway programme. All five domestic players selected for the Cedars World Cup train-on squad have played in the CRL, which proves the fledgling competition is improving year on year.
